In the class, Larissa Gallagher, Brian Thon, Laura Palmer, Dan Levine, or Nikki Lowe will discuss the many types of opportunities you'll have as a voice-over artist, how the voice-over industry used to work vs. how it works today, basic voice-over technique for a narration vs. commercial, what clients want to hear in their advertisements, where voice-over artists work today, if the voice-over industry is right for you, what is entailed in voice-over training, how to use the Such A Voice method to develop your unique voice, and how to successfully market your voice-over brand to become a professional voice-over artist.

Originally hailing from Australia, Larissa has over 15 years of experience as a professional performer, including resident voice-over artist with Australia's top-rated radio show, dmg Radio Australia. Brian has been the voice on the radio of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in Vermont since 2005, and in June of 2008 he was chosen as the voice of the brand for GE Healthcare's new company, Omnyx. Brian does voice-over work with the likes of the Vermont Frost Heaves professional basketball team, Vermont Public Radio, UCLA, NYU, The Light Radio Network, among many others. Brian’s own production company is currently in production on a new weekly radio show that he will host and air on 5 FM stations in New England in the months to come. He has emceed live events and interviewed College Presidents, published authors and even Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musicians. Locally and nationally, Brian is the "voice that rings true."

Nikki came to voice-overs over ten years ago when she was in the business of software training and e-learning solutions. Realizing she had a knack for voice-overs, Nikki graduated from the Master's Program and immediately became a success. She has worked with PBS, Habitat for Humanity, various software companies, as well as produced radio and television commercials, e-learning tutorials and corporate presentations.
