Announcing Our New Partnership with Learning Ally!

Such A Voice CEO Ben Werlin here!

I’m thrilled to announce our new partnership with Learning Ally.  Learning Ally is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating solutions for struggling learners. Their main solution is a library of human-read audiobooks (that includes fiction, non-fiction, and even textbooks) for kids who have dyslexia, who are blind or visually impaired, or who otherwise have difficulty reading.

What does this mean for you?

If you’re looking to get some hands-on voice-over experience with constructive feedback included, Learning Ally is an amazing resource for you.  They’re looking for voice-over volunteers, especially professional talent formally trained from programs like ours. Their volunteers produce quality narrations and instructional text for the books that some kids need audio versions of.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to get practical training and experience from the comfort of your home, all while giving back in a meaningful way. Details will be shared soon on how you can get involved.

Right now, Learning Ally is hosting their annual fundraiser which enables them to make all of this possible.  Their current goal is to double their already large audiobook library, and they’re looking to raise $100,000 to help make all of this a reality.

We’re hosting a Facebook Live event on Tuesday, April 16th at 6pm EST on the Such A Voice Facebook page. We’ll be hearing from our own Joleene Derks, the Learning Ally volunteer coordinators, some of the fortunate beneficiaries of Learning Ally’s work, and myself.  You don’t want to miss this webinar.

We hope to have your support in getting behind this incredible, heart-centered mission!

You can do so by contributing to a Such A Voice team member’s Learning Ally fundraiser page here: SAV’s Learning Ally Fundraiser Page.

Donations of any amount can make a big difference. Make your best gift today!
