At Such A Voice, people ask us all the time, “What’s it like to be a voice-over artist?” So to answer that question, we went straight to the source: our Director of Operations, Heather Costa. Heather has been a professional voice-over artist for over ten years and has worked with thousands of clients around the globe, all out of her broadcast-quality studio in her New York home. Here’s what she had to say:
“As a mom of two young children, I love nothing more than being able to work from home, spend time with my kids, make my own hours and hang out in my PJs 🙂 It’s always great to do something in a career that you’re really passionate about and for me, it’s voice-overs. Every day I get to act as someone different – a real estate broker talking about amazing properties, a tech guru discussing the newest Microsoft programs (jargon and all!), a college kid in an ETS narration and more! It’s an industry with a ton of variety and excitement. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else!”
